Fremont, Ohio – September 12, 2023 – The Fremont Company launched its 6th annual Fremont Cares Kickoff Raffle Event to employees earlier this month. The raffle aims to involve employees across all three Fremont Company locations to purchase raffle tickets to raise money to help fund local school lunch programs and food pantries. Every dollar raised is matched by the company.
With many families facing financial challenges, ensuring access to nutritious meals for school children is more important than ever and supports the company’s core value of Feed the World Like Family.
How the Fremont Cares Fundraising Initiative Works:
- Raffle Tickets for Prizes: Employees will have the chance to purchase raffle tickets for Ohio State and Browns football games, a day of Paid Time Off, and even win lunch for an entire shift at the plant. New this year is a VIP Parking spot near the entrance for each facility.
- Community Impact: All funds raised through the raffle ticket sales will be matched and donated to local school districts to pay down lunch debts or aid in stocking the shelf of the local food pantry.
“With Fremont Cares, we believe in the power of community and giving back. Our employees are not only hard-working but also compassionate individuals who want to make a difference. This fundraising initiative allows us to combine our love for community engagement with the excitement of winning prizes while supporting a vital cause.” Says Chris Smith, The Fremont Company President.
