Every dollar is matched by the company and that provides a meal to a local food bank. Jerry S. won the PTO day for his shift and helped put food on the shelves at the local food pantry. Huge thanks to all the Rockford employees who participated, it’s truly the community who benefits. Aaron A was the happy winner of the PTO day in our Rockford facility for his shift. A day just for him and money donated to the local food pantries? That’s a win for Fremont Cares! New Community Church in St. Mary’s, Ohio started a food pantry just this fall due to growing food insecurities. We were happy to present them with a check for over $500 that the employees raised through our Fremont Cares raffle event. Every dollar counts, great job Rockford facility! Our Fremont facility raised over $900 to donate to the local food pantry at the Pontifex Inc center on State St. The money will be specifically used to stock the shelves this holiday season. Way to go, Fremont employees! You aren’t seeing double! Elsa B is one lucky lady, she won BOTH raffle items at the Fremont facility. The better news is that all funds from raffle ticket sales went to a local food pantry so we can continue to Feed the World like Family. Congrats – again – Elsa! Elsa B from our Fremont facility won the Paid Time Off day. She plans to relax! Elsa’s money, along with all employees who bought raffle tickets, will be matched by the company and go towards a local food pantry. Congrats Elsa! Our favorite story of our 2020 Kickoff Raffle items is this one! Liz M. won the Paid Time Off day but chose to gift it to another employee who could really use it. The spirit of giving is what Fremont Cares is all about. Lunch for the entire Paisley facility was won by Jim H. in the annual Kickoff Raffle. With all the donations this year, the Paisley facility will be donating $342 to the United Way of Lake County. Pamela M. was the lucky winner for the Swag Bag from our 4th annual Kickoff Raffle event. Logo clothes, a gift certificate and yummy foods! The Ohio National Guard picking up a few pallets of food donations to take to the West Ohio Food Bank as part of our Fremont Cares program to help feed our local communities. Donating our sauerkraut and pickled vegetables to a local Ohio Food Bank as we continue to Feed the World like Family through our Fremont Cares program. Our Fremont Cares program donates to our local food banks often but we

The United Way of Lake County was happy to receive over 3,600lbs of our Sweet Pickled Beets, Four Bean Salad, and other fresh items to help stock their area food banks before the holiday season! Our plant manager, Bruce H., presents a check to United Way of Lake County Resource Manager Jodi M., on behalf of our Willoughby, OH facility for Fremont Cares. Willoughby raised enough money to provide over 1700 meals to area families through their raffle ticket purchases. Brian will be 3 rows from the field, right in the action, all for a good cause. Along with other employees, he bought raffle tickets during the annual Fremont Cares Kickoff Raffle event and won! This money will be donated directly to the Fremont community during Food Bank week. Congrats Brian! Blanca P of our Willoughby facility won herself a day of Paid Time Off by purchasing raffle tickets in our Fremont Cares Kickoff Raffle event. The money that she – and her co-workers – used to purchase raffle tickets was matched by The Fremont Company and will be donated back into the Willoughby community through United Way of Lake County. Congrats Blanca! Our Fremont Cares Kickoff Raffle event included winning a tailgate themed lunch for one facility shift. Lori C of Fremont won over 75 co-workers and herself lunch, corn hole game included! Good job Lori, you were part of raising over $1k for your community. Our Rockford facility was proud to present the Superintendent of Parkway schools a check to provide 566 school lunches for school aged children who needed extra help. The money was raised by employees, and matched by The Fremont Company, during our Fremont Cares Kickoff Raffle event. The Fremont Company was happy to donate over 300 cases of ketchup and BBQ sauce to the West Ohio Food Bank in Lima, Ohio. This food bank helps feed families around our Rockford facility. Paisley Farm received a certificate from United Way of Lake County for being the #1 largest food donor of the year. The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank received 73 cases (over 500 pounds!) of our Mississippi Sweet Apple BBQ Sauce. The Fremont Cares program is a long time supporter of the Toledo Food Bank and happy to give back to families in our area. Fresh fruit and vegetables along with shelf-stable items were donated by employees in our Fremont location. These healthy foods went right to the local food pantry at the Pontifex on State St. A hearty donation of 66 cases of Paisley Farm Sweet Pickled Beets to The United Way of Lake County was happily accepted. This donation will provide over 1,400 meals to families directly in the Lake County, OH area. Our annual donation to the Boy Scouts of America summer camp which serves over 3,000 boys largely from the state of Ohio. Fremont Cares was happy to donate both BBQ sauce and ketchup to such a fine event. Our Fremont office donated over $100 of fresh produce and shelf-stable foods to the Pontifex food bank. Employees donated money towards the food bank in exchange for a month of “casual Friday’s” Pamela delivering over $300 to McKinley Outreach Center Over $700 donated to Rockford Ministries for their Wednesday night free meals.
