THE FREMONT COMPANY DONATES FOOD AND ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS AND HOSPITAL

FREMONT, OH – In an ongoing effort to help stock local food banks, The Fremont Company donated over 1,300 cases of food to local Ohio Food Banks. Hand sanitizer was also provided to St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital located in Mercer County in response to shortages in disinfectant and related supplies throughout the country due to the recent pandemic.

Working with partners such as area Ohio Food Banks, Feeding America, and the Ohio National Guard, The Fremont Company continues to help feed its local communities through its in-house program, Fremont Cares. The Fremont Company created the Fremont Cares program in 2017 in order to support one of the company’s core guiding principles which is to “Care for our local communities through donations of our time and talents.”

“Fremont Cares is a powerful way to help support and respond directly to our local communities and bring employees together for a great cause during unprecedented times in our country. We will continue to look for ways to help where we can, when we can.” Dave Stark, Vice President of Human Resources for The Fremont Company.
